Super Tuesday is coming to a close. And I honestly haven’t looked at any results yet. I’m not sure that I will be a fan of the results, but that’s OK.
Because, my faith is in GOD.
My faith is not in the flesh of this world. My trust is not in imperfect humans. I trust a loving God.
We don’t know the big picture. The big picture could be for America to be headed towards a downfall. The big picture could be for America to become even greater. We. Do. Not. Know.
We can hope. We can hope and pray that whoever is elected will glorify God and set our country on a respectable and virtuous path. But that may not be God’s plan. He may or may not allow that to happen. He may or may not delay that, like He delayed the Israelites entering the Promised Land.
Sometimes, it seems that we can’t do much. But we can vote. We can pray. We can have a voice. We can be Christ’s hands and feet. We can show love to the unlovable. We can have faith when it’s hard. We can stay strong.
We are part of something bigger than ourselves, and regardless of who the President is, let’s glorify God.
God can use hard hearts like Pharoh’s to show his power. God can use corrupt hearts like Saul/Paul to show his power. God can use willing hearts like Esther. God can use moldable hearts, He can use conservative hearts, liberal hearts, right hearts, and wrong hearts. He can use your heart. He can use my heart.
And show love.
