Welcome! My name is Ashley. I have an amazing supportive husband, who has had my heart since I was 18. I’ve been a businessman’s wife, a coach’s wife, and am now an oilfield wife. I am now a stay at home mom of 4 beautiful boys. We had our first boy, Brock, 7 years ago at the end of my Sophomore year of college. Two years later, at the end of my Senior year of college, we had twins Ryder and Camden. Last year, I gave birth to our sweet Beau, thus making us a family of 6, with 5 of them being boys- and yes they are ALL boy! You know- that dirty, energetic, never sitting still, loves bathroom language and noises, buggar picking, wrestling, smelly-footed, outdoor peeing, momma-loving type boy!
I hope you enjoy my blog. I feel new to this, and really put myself out there in some of my posts. Its not always comfortable, but writing helps me to discover and realize things about myself that I otherwise wouldn’t recognize. I hope you can relate to something you read here. And if you like what you read, please share!

What you can find in my blog:
All things boy– Being a mother is my main job. I try not be a mother who solely watches from the sidelines, but jumps in and gets down and dirty and messy and cuddly with my boys. By teaching and playing with them, I have learned a lot about myself. Creatively spending time with them is a passion for me. I love hands on activities. But I also love just reading a good book, or a simple tickle match. Time is something you can never get back and I want to make the most of the time I am given to spend with them.
Parenting-While I definitely do not have all, if any, of the parenting answers, I would love to just be able to share some of what we’ve discovered works and doesn’t work for us. From breastfeeding and miscarriage to marriage and twins, this is where I honestly try to show who I really am and how my experiences have made me who I am now.
Creativity– Growing up I was never interested in anything crafty or creative. My interest was sparked when I became pregnant with my first son. He was born with a birth defect called gastroschisis. I started Brock’s scrapbook as a way to keep myself distracted from my fears and emotions concerning his health complications. I then learned how much I loved it! When I was pregnant with the twins, crafty projects became a distraction from the pains of a twin pregnancy. Since then I have expanded from scrapbooking to making home decor and redoing furniture. I also love to give homemade gifts for special holidays. I found it was a good distraction generally resulting in a positive outcome.
